Kurt Schwitters’ concept of an urban grove and of collage dictated the fragmentation of the volumes. The interplay of gauges and spatial ordering has enabled the linkage of public spaces (artists’ studios, shops) and semi-private spaces (walkways, terraces, gardens) rendered visible from the street.

Each light-filled apartment has a dual aspect; the corner living-rooms overlook urban vistas and landscaping. The penetration of light inside the development reveals a variety of illumination and visual depths.
